“Don’t Stop Me Now” in Super Mario World

Someone has recreated Queen’s hit: “Don’t Stop Me Now” in Super Mario World.  This is totally crazy and it makes my head hurt to think of how much time must have been spent to make this work.  Nevertheless, it is pretty awesome.

Alexander Hamilton Rap

Lin Manuel is a Tony award winning composer and lyricist who is the genius behind the musical In The Heights.  He is currently creating a conceptional hip-hop album based on the life of Alexander Hamilton.  Sounds crazy, right?  I thought the same thing…and then I watched the video below.  He was invited to perform at the White House Poetry Jam and the Obamas clearly enjoyed his performance.  I am really pumped to hear more from this album.  Check out the goods below!

Free mp3 - “Happy Halloween”

I was hanging with Match Zimmerman last night and we recorded a totally awesome Halloween song.   He is a super talented musician (check out his previous work here) and it was a real trick-or-treat to work with him.

Check out our song below.  If you like it, download for FREE at SoundCloud and make sure to tell your friends!

Manbat

French artist Remi Gaillard (see previous Skiddyology post) is famous for his street pranks. His latest character is Manbat and it is totally awesome.  (via Buzzfeed)

TheFunTheory.com

Volkswagon’s recently created an initiative entitled TheFunTheory.com.  This group of creative individuals have come up with a series of projects that are designed to illicit good behavior through the use of fun.  The blurb on their website reads:

“This site is dedicated to the thought that something as simple as fun is the easiest way to change people’s behaviour for the better. Be it for yourself, for the environment, or for something entirely different, the only thing that matters is that it’s change for the better.”

The Fun Theory has only released three projects, but I am really into what they are all about.  Below are my two favorite pieces.  Be sure to check out the website for more info.
